I’d be fooled into thinking this was Champagne.

Rich lemon yellow color and loads of citrus on nose and palate. There is a lively richness to the texture that offsets the high acidity. Green apple, lemon, hawthorn and acacia. Very refreshing. Very active mouse - maybe not quite enough time in cellar to force the bubbles smaller for creamier texture but delightful. Uses all three major Champagne grapes - it has Champagne fruit but not quite the minerality

Brioche characterizes this Methode Anglaise sparkling! It is effulgently toasty and I'm guessing it's had at least 3 years on the lees if not more. It was delightful although a bit heavy on the brioche character. 2008 vintage.

Quite impressed by this bubbly from up and coming English producer. Not quite as refined as the best champagne, but nevertheless there's a great deal of appealing complexity.

I don't know nothing about this wine or winery, but I'm enjoying it at the #DWCC conference during some talks about digital wine communication. Fresh, fruity, long finish, little sweetness but not disturbing at all.

Tastes like darn good Champagne to me. Pinots Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay. Méthode Anglaise, of course.

Nice delicate estate grown Methode Champenoise from Kent, England. Around 1/3 each of the classic Champagne grapes.
