Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett Riesling

Just immaculate and wispy. Long. Prefect RS to acid ratio.

What a nose of slate, apple and vanilla extract. Also lime zest. Palate is wonderful. Chewy and el elegant with terrific mouthfeel and such energy. Sappy and so lime infused. Gorgeous purity and finishes dry.

As classic as Kabinett gets. Wow. Like 1970’s Kabi.

Really a delicious Kabinett. Seems quite classic to me. Intense acid and nose and minerally mouth coating palate. At 8% one you feel you can just drink and drink.

No formal notes. Awesome. Juicy. Lime. So zesty. Very sappy.

Day 2 notes. Palate is so deep and ripe but nimble as all can be. Luscious and dense. Amazing purity and such a classic Kabinett. Nose is a bit mute today but palate is slamming.

Really a lovely kabinett from Wehlener Sonnenuhr by Gunther Steinmetz. Very well balanced. 8% abv which is perfect for a Monday night.
