Super lazy cheesy with disgorgement 2019. I could see why this is often described as “not for everyone” but has a huge autolytic character and apple turnover aromas.

Tight, fresh, and complex. Chalk and salt takes centre stage here, supported by lemon, green apple, orange oil, and brioche notes. Super floral nose that's finely kissed by aldehydic elements, which just highlights how elegant this BdB is. Absolutely adored this. Thanks for the nice discovery, J.

Didn't find much info. This is from Vin Chicago's website: "Richard and Karine Fouquet farm eight hectares in the Grand Cru villages of Cramant and Chouilly. They sell most of their fruit to large houses, retaining a small amount to bottle under their own Guiborat label. While designated as nonvintage, the "Prisme.13" consists entirely of fruit from the excellent 2013 vintage. Disgorged in early 2017, it is replete with high-pitched tension and chalk-themed minerality. The palate is generous and concentrated, giving ripe lemon and yellow apple fruits on the long, complex, nicely textured finish."

Light gold in color with a constant and consistent stream of bubbles. The nose is spectacularly fresh and alive. A heavy dose of apple goodness initially with beautiful violets. Roasted almonds and faint smoke. Pears and a touch of peaches to pair with the lemons and limes. Chalk and limestone for days.

This is an acid bomb and I love it. Racy acidity and a ton of minerality. A Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs from Cramant and it shows. Low dosage serves nicely here and the complexity and thoughtfulness of the wine is deep.

The attack is full of tension and drama. Very energetic throughout. Pure joy in the mouth with more citrus fruits. Salinity and laser focused precision. An outstanding effort.

Love it when a producer puts alle relevant data on the back label! Especially when the product is so delicious! Great BdB from a small producer in Cramant.

Great BdB from a Cramant producer. Visited the domaine about two years ago. Still remember their beautiful tasting room literally inside their vineyards. Great and passionate producer which is reflected in their wines.
