Lavender and honeysuckle on the nose. Foamy bubbles provide a generous mouthfeel with hints of chestnuts and apple peel.

Gruet NV brut. Sun yellow in the glass, medium but persistent bubbles. Dry, with Notes of fresh Granny Smith apples mixed with almonds. Short finish. Good at $15-18

Seriously, just based on the value you should be drinking this sparkler. Polished, racy and brimming with pear, brioche and green apple, it may not cost a lot, but you’d never know that by drinking it.

Deep yellow, almost gold color; yeasty breadlines on nose which was also clear on taste; high acidity; decent finish. High acidity was a bit unbalanced, but I appreciate the freaky bread character in so inexpensive a wine. Not bad.

We liked this one as a non-sweet bubbly for mimosas.

Nice sparkling - nothing head turning but still nice and bright. Not too sweet.
