Nice sparkler - tiny bubbles, good acidity, malic, lactic, citric, great length of apple flavor with a hint of lime and lemon, but another hint: it’s made in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, not France. My friends from that state always remind me how great this winery is. So, drink up (like those friends of mine do) with some New Mexican green chile stew, with a fried egg on top. Side of joe with some piñon nuts if you like. Perfect brunch in my reckoning... And a hint of toasted brioche in the aftertaste? That almost makes it seem “French”, doesn’t it?
