So many people contact me about #organicwine here in Australia. It’s becoming more and more popular and I can definitely see why after tasting this beauty!

Grosset Wines is an independently owned winery in South Australia’s Clare Valley. The ‘Apiana’ is a white wine blend that is made from 60% Semillon and 40% Fiano. And wow, this wine stole my palate!

In the glass, it’s a yellow-green pear juice like colour. The nose is crisp and fresh with hints of flowers and herbs alongside apples, pears and candied lemon. In the mouth, it’s 100% moreish with a juicy zippy nature full of flavoursome lemon and pear notes. This is an absolutely gorgeous wine and has gone straight to my top 10 list for 2018!

I struggle with Fiano, though this blend is not bad - basil on the nose and nice fullness on the palate - interesting that this is the 5th year that this wine has been made, but only released in 2 years - ?fickle Fiano
