Damaschito Aglianico del Vulture

Dried violets blue plums moody...moods. Agianico is a dark haired vixen who winks at you then ever so lightly punches your arm, laughing. Dark wine sarcastic soul. Balsamic vinegar and prunes. Tannic thunder kept in check. By ripe and dried fruits sturdy and whimsically profound.

Very dry. Bold tannins. Hints of cherry.

A nice one. Kind of safe. Not an incredible amount of complexity and quite medium for such a powerful grape. But it's nice.

Seven-year-old volcanic Aglianico? Don't mind if I do. Delicious, structured, just ripe enough. Nicely done, @Cecilia Piccin!

Black current and black berries, high concentration, very good balance, refined tannin, medium long finish. Great.

Absolutely fantastic.

Dry, dry and heavy tannins. Like drinking from the river Styx.
