Very unique Sauvignon Blanc and not like any other NZ example I've ever tasted, but it's incredible. Still has the ripping acid, despite going through battonage and Malo. Beautiful jalapeño, melon, grapefruit, and grassy-ness.

Much better balance and far greater complexity than the stereotypical NZ Sauvignon. Great depth, silky texture and vibrant but not overbearing acidity. Citrus and minerality with Kiwi grassiness relegated to the background where it gives structure without hijacking the flavor profile

Feb 22nd, 2017Probably my one of favorite Sav Blancs from NZ. This is beautifully aromatic and amazing flint characteristics. I'm going to hunt this down in the states. Drinking it with Kevin makes it even better.

Definitely not your typical Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, barrel fermented, wild yeasts, powerful concentrated nose, round, dense on the palate, so powerful it's almost tiring to drink. Wine with character.
