Great balance. Fresh, slightly herbal, lovey fruit. A beautiful wine strutting it's stuff now and should continue to evolve for another 5+ years

Have only tried the IV and VI before so was very excited to try out the I especially since it is the only bottle I have. Color is dark ruby red with some blue or purple hues. Nose starts with dark berries and dark chocolates, as it opens up some slight greenery and espresso. Will be great with more air time, still a little tight. The palate had dark chocolate, dark berries, smooth and flows nicely together. Moderate tannins with a full body that follows through with a long lingering finish. Very well integrated with some furriness on the tongue due to tannins. Overall a great wine that I would love to try again. Has the potential to improve on day 2 or day 3.

Ready to drink. Beautiful now, but wouldn't hold too much longer.

Ben smith from cadence is the winemaker here the vineyard sites ate some of the oldest in Washington the ciel du cheval vineyard a blend of 66 cab, 12 cf, 12pv, 10 merlot dark cherry and currant berry fruit with that distinct red mountain minerality fresh plowed earth. Very dense and rich on the palate with an array of dark currant cherry fruit with an array of thick minerality, rich fruit but has very good balance and a fresh finish fine tannins with layers of nuance through the finish. Finish 50+ most excellent.

Some dark fruits and tar. Green notes were out of balance and it felt a little tired and confused.
