Beneventano Falanghina

Great surprise as I have never had this wine before. Quite a bit darker color than most Gavis that I have had. Very complex especially as it opened up. From citrus to stonefruit to floral notes and even a mineral dry finish. Held up nice to grilled shrimp and calamari. I like

Pretty wine. Rose petals, apricots, white pepper spice, crisp apples.

Wasn't aware this was a Gavi but I really liked it. Crisp and clean. Great summer wine.

I really like this wine! Nectarine and gooseberry on the nose. Lemon curd and a little flinty on the finish. Enjoyed with a smoked ham and sweet potatoes!

Delicious! Honey, apple, apricot, plum, and wildflower aromas. Lightly acidic, a bit tannic. Well-balanced. The wine was overwhelmed by dinner (saltimbocca), and was far better on its own. Would definitely buy again.

Tasted in 2014: Extremely fragrant. Tropical fruit, stone fruit, and orange blossoms. Finished with a clean, chalky minerality.

To start with, I would wear this as perfume it smells so good! Big taste. I was at a wine tasting when I had it; all of the other wines were good... but I was ruined for other wine after.

Great wine for desserts with dark chocolate and fruits. Generous taste punctuated by notes of vanilla and red fruits.
