Purchased at the winery in 2018. A beautifully balanced wine. Nose integrates bright, ripe red berry fruit and vaguely smoky, cracked stone minerality. Mouthfilling flavors are on the more savory side, with iodine, loads of stones, and some dry cherry liqueur notes lingering in the finish. Good acidity and there are some tannins there, but they’re super soft. This is actually seems more northern Rhône in style than Walla Walla. Really fine.

Excellent, raspberry and blackberry and rosemary, a little smoked meat. Doesn’t have the same depth as some of the single vineyard bottlings but excellent

WA syrah punching way above its weight, succulent and pure. Brambly quality I love. Drink up.

Second time tasting this, but this time it blew us all away. Really great balance. There's a richness and weight here, but not enough to overpower or draw attention to itself. Subtle and layered, it's gorgeous and classic Syrah aromatically. Blackberry, white pepper, purple flowers... It's terrific. Everyone tasted blind though Northern Rhone or maybe a high quality California producer of Syrah. Washington surprised us!

Bacon fat, raspberries, cassis, some floral elements too. Whole cluster. Sophisticated and attractive. Soft velvet structure.

A bright little expression of Syrah that stands in contrast to most heavy handed examples coming out of the region. Floral, herbal, a hint of olive but left lively from bright red fruits. I don't think you would ever guess this as an old world wine but it's a refreshing example of alternative style in Washington.

Dense brick red in color. Red fruit leather, cherry, white pepper and barrel smoke notes in nose. Spice and white pepper on finish. Dense, complex Syrah

Sourced from the Foothills of the Blue Mountains from the Forgotten Hill & Les Collines vineyards. Fermented from 70% whole clusters. On the nose, blue fruits leap out of the glass, soft pepper, fragrant blue florals, violets & chewing gum. On the palate, gummy blue fruits, spice, pepper, grilled meats, volcanic mid intensity minerals, red cherries, strawberries, raspberry cola, scorched earth, dark, rich soils, violets, round, brilliant acidity and a rich, lush finish.
