Deep ruby; medium intensity aromas of ripe blackberry, black currant, black cherry, anise, clove, cinnamon, dark chocolate, espresso; dry, medium acid, smooth ripe medium plus tannins, high alcohol, full body, pronounced intensity flavors consistent with aromas; medium plus finish, very ripe but well balanced, very good

Very smooth and seamless. Black cherry, red currant, leather, pepper and just slightly too much sweet oak for my taste. Haven’t had the Reserve cab but I would be concerned about the level of new wood based on this. The Syrahs are the real show with this producer anyway so can’t wait til those are ready

Leather, tar and pepper. Grippy tannins. Sustains nicely. It has a lot of class.

Big boysenberry and blackberry notes! Anise and mint on the nose!

Herby in a good way. Shows elegance and delicate fruit. Lovely now. Doesn't show the challenges of the vintage given its balance but definitely shows the minerally and cooler side of Cabernet.

Delocious and complex. Wonderful flavors, long finish.
