Medium ruby red. Elegant nose with notes of lavender, violets, a little bell pepper and spice. Medium tannins (5/10) and medium bodied. Soft and elegant palate too with floral notes, red cherries, raspberries, spices and a touch of gravel. Got a little green as it aired in the glass. Medium plus body. Drink till 2018.

Omg! A Last Bottle selection for $38! Knocked my sox off! Pulled the cork and found crystallized sugar residue reflecting the light back at me. Intense NAPA Cab rich deep volcanic rocky nose with rich fruit essence. That rich NAPA Cab Alta flavor I adore! One of the better wines I’ve had! Had it with, of all things, Natchos and refried beans with spicy salsa and a goat cheese beet Mediterranean style salad... it worked! Next bottle though I’m getting a prime steak!
