Session 3 of Wine Essentials One at the Institute of Culinary Education Center for Wine Studies.
A burly Barolo from the Boschetti Vineyard, with a lighter pigmentation of Nebbiolo. It is still aging beautifully. On the bouquet are floral smells of black tea, teakwood, and the classic Barolo characteristic of “tar and roses.” This is an intensely tannic and savory wine with a bitter edge. A great pairing for this bad boy would be a heavy pasta dish or a succulent rib roast.
@Delectable Wine Please note that this is a Barolo Riserva from the Boschetti Vineyard by the producer Gomba.
