Delicious, little tight right out of the gate but a 3 hour decant did it well. Raisin, craisin, dried cherry, vanilla, well cured tobacco and plenty of oak. Another few years probably would’ve done this well but not mad I popped the cork.

May 27th, 2021Tannins were still prevalent after 10 years. Oak and vanilla up front with cassis and ripe berries on the finish. Low alcohol (14.3%) made it food friendly.

It's odd that Pro ratings for this are so discordant from novice. I loved this wine. Need to have another bottle for specific notation.
