Estate Grown Gowan Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir

Ruby with aromas of fresh ripe berries, herbs, spices and oak. The palate shows juicy black cherry, blackberries and complex spice with gentle oak. The wine is well balanced, rich, great mouth feel, fine tannins with a little backbone to allow for aging. The finish has good length and ends with oaky notes.

Cooked cranberries & cherries, pomegranate, smoke meats, cinnamon, vanilla, herbs and spice.

Spicy aroma. Fruity, deep black plum and strawberry flavor. A bit sweet, juicy, powerful . It is difficult to put it after an elegant Chardonnay, Meursault. Goldeneye (Duckhone Vineyards) Anderson Valley, Mendocino in North Coast. Gowan Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir 2012 @1680 -, Fwine, 210603-210612

That went fast, too fast. Probably would’ve enjoyed it more of it was decanted.

Cherry nose. Rhubarb pie, stewed cherry and cinnamon on the palate. Smooth and well balanced.

Red and black cherry, cola with a long finish.

For some reason, this did not score well in a recent local Pinot tasting. I rated it highly.

Rich fruit -- red and black fruit compote, broad and full on the palate.

Wow! Plush, rich, complex and intriguing. So lucky to represent such a wonderful portfolio.
