Brunate - Le Coste Barolo Nebbiolo

1996. Dried cherries, a bit faded, still very beautiful though

Strong character from a cold vintage. Slow wine..

1996 is drinking perfectly right now. These are the prettiest Barolos I've tried. In love with every bottle I've opened.

"Fresh as a daisy" Ken says. Yep!!! Just start to come out of its shell. Floral, getting juicy, and the finish loooong.

Still tight as a drum. Place Rinaldi just behind G Conterno and have always favored 96 but perhaps some will never really charm?

a bit flat and dull to me. real excited to taste. unfortunately the drink did not live up to the expectation.

Hands down one of the best Barolo I’ve ever had. We let it decent for 2 hours. I was expecting something brooding from the reviews but this night it was anything but. Light tannins with red fruit, beautiful floral notes with a long finish. Definite wine of the night.
