Wonderful acidity, well balanced fruit, a firm finish. This is top shelf Barbera and a real delight. Bravo.

Very elusive Barbera. At moments it was ripe and juicy with a sweet taste. At other times a bit tannin with some oaky notes. A complex wine but very well balanced. Let it open for a bit to enjoy best.

Lots of great superiore barbera d 'alba but this not unsurprisingly rises way above the ranks.

Dark fruit, with notes of tar. Mild smoke and finishes in medium tannins for an Italian wine. Could age a bit for rounding out sweetness.
