This was absolutely beautiful. Gave it a 2 hour decant and probably better at hour 4 than 2 but it’s marginal. Quite a “classic nebbiolo” lighter color in the glass. The aromatics on this wine are crazy - so much dark cherry and earth and a bit of licorice. Perfectly balanced with great body and a very long finish. The tannins are there but not at all overbearing and there is good acid to keep it refreshing. Perfect with a bone in dry aged ribeye.

Pristine, finessed with plenty of intensity, notes of red roses, sweet red cherries, orange peel, spices. A bit dusty, already, with firm tannins.

2010 vintage. Elegant, pure, Pommard like. Bursting cherry, cranberry, strawberry preserves, raspberry, great texture. Will only get better with time.

Lovely Barolo. Last had 4 years ago. Honestly was probably a smidge better then, I wouldn’t wait on this one any further. Aromatically quite wonderful and classic. Excellent mouthfeel, with great depth and finish. Delicious with garlic and fennel seed crusted pork chops. Decanted 1.5 hours, not sure it was needed.
