Had this at Summer Shack in Boston with a fresh boiled lobster. The wine was perfect. Nice buttery feel with malolactic fermentation but still good acid and not over oaked. Was almost like a good Montrachet. Really liked it

From grapes grown in the Russian River Valley, an ideal climate for allowing the grapes to slow ripen, and sourced from several vineyards. The Chardonnay sits on 100% French oak, of which about 35% is new. Pouring a glass I noticed a nice pale yellow color with aromas of stone fruits pear and vanilla spice scents. The palate showed crisp fruit flavors, mostly pears, apples and melons, with bright acidity, a touch of oak, minerality and a smooth creamy finish. An exception value. Will not disappoint!
