Needs to open, but a good wine. Great legs, and pairs wonderful with steak. Tastes more of red fruit (raspberries) than the dark berry fruit described, but does have hints of pepper, smoke, earthiness, leather, with a hint of cocoa.

Lovely full bodied, great Cal Cab genre. Enough fruit but overall vegetal predominance. Opened up over two hours of breathe. Will buy again.

This one has potential with a little more age. An hour of breathing time was hardly sufficient as the flavors were still tight and a tad bitter. As the night went on, the flavor improved and the vanilla notes came out.
