Wonderful, smooth, and complex. Dark berry fruit, ripe raspberry,oak, espresso, and vanilla. Interesting though that the 2013 was ten times better than the 2014, but costs about $10 more, not worth $29 but worth about the $16 range. — 9 years ago

At first a little tight and acidic, but decant and the wine opens beautifully😀 The Nose has notes of dark cherry, blackberry, cassis, and cedar. The taste blackberry jam, red currant, and earth. Perfect with our Gorgonzola burgers👍 — 9 years ago

So yummy and complex for a white wine! Guava, mango, passion fruit , strawberry with a creamy crime brûlée finish. Worth every penny, and I'm not usually a white wine drinker. Paired the Wente with grilled salmon( marinated with dill, garlic, olive oil), rice pilaf , and salad with Gorgonzola. — 9 years ago

Good with food. Definitely needs to decant, and much lighter than expected and described. Acidic with red fruit, not much complexity. Not bad, but not worth the price point! — 9 years ago
