Aroma. Cinnamon, strawberry, tobacco. Medium light body, quite spiced with some anise, hints of licorice, strawberries, tannins are quite forward but surprisingly not harsh. Just need some braised meat now...

Beautiful wine with nice complexity. Nose blackberry, Creme cassis, and vanilla, and smoke tobacco. Ripe blackberry, raspberry, cherry, cedar, brown sugar, and pepper on the finish.

Pleasant very drinkable but unremarkable. Never opened up after 2 hours unlike other ratings. Hints of spice and peppermint with cherry notes on the nose. Nice balance on the palate but again nothing remarkable that I picked up. Good, but I expected more.

I have 3 sons, so loved the name right off the bat (some say my husband is the 4th...) . Took some time to open up ( dirty socks!) but 2nd bottle was yummy after 1 hour in the decanter @LM Segal
