Medium Ruby with complex aromas of ripe berry fruits and fresh floral, mint and herb citrus scents, aged for 36 months in oak. On the palate the palate flavors of raspberry, cherry, tobacco and fresh herbs give this medium+ body wine some power, yet it’s graceful and elegant. Soft fine tannins on a well balanced frame makes this wine enjoyable today but it will be better in about 5 years and over the next decade.

Dad brought back from Italy. Very good barolo. We drank it with Prossimo truffle mushroom pasta and pasta bolognese. Wonderfully pairing for both. No notes from dinner.
