Rosserto Langhe Rossese Bianco

I’ve never had Rossese Bianco and as a fan of Rossese (red), it’s exciting to try this (from Piemonte, surprisingly). Nose is quite herbal with a little note of raw almond. Slight note of stone fruit pits. Crisp and cleansing and refreshing in the mouth (as are many of its red siblings). Nice intensity and balance. This would be a very nice summer antipasto accompaniment. Thanks to my brother Angelo for spying and snagging this for me!

Green apples, minerals and excellent with caprese

N: Green , very, apples, river rocks, lots of mineral.
P: Yellow flowers and unripe fruit, austere I think you’d say.
With chicken livers rigatoni, it went well.
A nice experiment, but I don’t think twice is called for.

100% Rossese Bianco. Not like my all time favorite but super awesome to drink this rare wine.

Vegetal green aloe and barely noticeable smoke; like distant forest fire. Or like a great Tobala Mezcal. Apples, tangerine, plush.

Liked at first but then felt like it was too oaky, almost like bad chard

Liked the first taste, a little heavy for more than a glass.

Crisp, clean taste, some grapefruit and grass

One of the best whites I have ever drank. Very clean, it's finishes quick but delicious. Drank it with oil and rock fondue at mom's house on Christmas Eve.
