Piedmont wine tasting: light translucent ruby, orange tinges, bricking at rim, prominent tearing • slow to open up, dried red cherry, rose petals, tar, barnyard notes, thyme • very tannic, 14% ABV, somewhat astringent finish * made from blend of Nebbiolo from six different small lots in the three villages of Treiso, Barbaresco, and Neive • would recommend a decant of 90 minutes to 2 hours
