Les Champs des Plantes Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc

Straw yellow color with aromas of crisp fruits earthy minerals and floral notes. On the palate flavors of stone and citrus fruits, some smoky spice and white flowers. Lively acidity, crisp medium finish from this light body wine.

I called this RRV Sonoma SB 2015, due to the tree fruit nuances, however alas the p.fume has got me yet again. Not a fan so much of the 2017 vintage of this producer. Less complex, softer fruit, less mineral, and still ample acidity.

Peach on the nose but with some minerality. Medium acidity.

Light lemon in color.

Light on the nose with asparagus and green apple.

Light bodied with medium acidity.

Dry and crisp on the palate with green apples and lime.

Nice long elegant finish.

100% Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire.

2013. Lemon zest, grapefruit zest and wet stones. Nice bright acidity

Crisp, youthful, and refreshing. White flowers and grapefruit. The steely palate lingers with refreshing acidity. The kind of Puilly I'd recommend to someone who hasn't tried it.

Bright. Pleasant. Neither abrasive nor thin.

Total wine

Nice aroma of tropical pineapple and peach. However, it’s is very tart for a wine with some minerality.

Very light!
