Ridge Block Single Vineyard Selection Pinot Noir
Nice components but a little awkward, lacks harmony.

Mar 16th, 2019Luscious and feminine on the nose. Satin waves of clean red fruit and subtle tea notes. Super nicely balanced and clean in the mouth. Tart and expressive with powerful fruit and nuanced oak. Bright and explosive finish with long fruit going on and on. The hint of bite let’s you know where it’s from. Not Burgundian but a truly beautiful expression of New Zealand Pinot

Mar 7th, 2018Young, but seems all there with potential. Edgy oak should integrate with the concentrated fruit in a few years.

Mar 8th, 2016Way too tart....the bouquet is too disturbing. I am sorry, this wine is very tart and like vinegar. Maybe a bad bottle. Ugh

Jan 24th, 2016Worlds best. Apparently. Very refined, smooth but full bodied.

Jun 20th, 2015I could attempt a critical dismissal of this nz Pinot it is low altitude the grape is from Marlborough our sav executional local yet this is well made beyond a village with depth and complexity that would challenge a premier cru hats of to Gliesson for their patience and zeal perhaps there is something more in Marlborough to be experienced by a wider world
