Began with Bright cherry notes and moved into lavender and hints of cola. Again, delicious with burgers on a southern porch in fantastic company. Did not pair well with f@#%ing salad!

Nice little entry level Pinot Noir. Nose is powerful and masculine with maraschino and dark red fruit with a hint of cassis. Med+ acid with pronounced red fruit and sharp bright tannins. A bit of early season plum and vanilla round out the palate. Finish is sharp and bright with a bit of green and harshness but cleans up to show some fruit. A bit too much knees and elbows for me

Blood orange, black tea, licorice, dried cherries, Asian spice. Surprisingly complex.

Meh.
Boring and pedestrian, a description Giesen has become synonymous with.

Med red color. Spicy cloves, potpourri and strawberries show through on the aromas. A mix of cherries and strawberries continue on the palate with a nice tight light-tannin finish.

Cute and classy label. Darker color than a lotta pinot noir out there. Aroma is nice. Ripe berries from cool places (say coastlines and mountain tops). That classic cherry cola of Pinot. Flavors are nice and bright. Tincture of medicinal plants (echinacea and\or elderberry), iron in red meat served rare, pie cherry, or even choke cherry. Nice long finish with some of that woods after a forest fire or peat bogs in the sun. It’s a very nice, dry and balanced Pinot with elegance.
