On the palate, blackberries, blueberries, dark cherries, black raspberries, raspberries, good presence of medium intensity spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, leather, dark soils, crushed rocks, smoke, bramble, big chalkiness, mellow acidity and solid finish. Dark sour cherry. Not bad, but perhaps a little harsh, a little simple. Bitterness on the finish. Better on the second day.

Really lovely. Rich fruits, but balanced with Central Otago earthiness. Just perfect.
