Cherry and chocolate on the nose. The nose promises more than the palate delivers. Barely medium weight. I thought the palate would deliver more fruit weight being from the Langhe in 2013. Finishes with some astringency.

Pleasantly surprised by this Nebbiolo; 2024 vintage, so a little young, but immediately hit with robust aromas of cherry, spice, and tobacco, followed by a very subtly light structured taste. Paired exceptionally well with truffle aioli and pulled beef dish.

Bright light ruby red . Fruit driven with strawberry , red cherry , raspberry , with a slightly smoky herbal touch . On the palate it is quite juicy and rounded with simple red fruits prominent , relatively light bodied, with balanced acidity , tannins are ripe but noticeable and slightly gritty. Those slightly smoky herbal notes reappear on the reasonable length finish . Alcohol is slightly noticeable , so I would be tempted to drink this at a cool cellar temperature. Drink now and over the next 5 years whilst the exuberant fruit is still in abundance . Simple but well made , for everyday with a pizza or pasta it’s a decent choice …. At just over $22 USD here in Brazil , I see this as pretty good value .

No formal notes here , but I was quite pleased this with choice . Quite ripe enticing nose , red cherries , fresh herbs and touch of spice , more or less repeated on the palate , with a succulent generous personality . Balanced acidity and quite fine , present tannins , just touch on the warm side , however a cooler serving temperature might have helped there . Drinking well now and over the next few years . Not complex but as a good everyday pizza or pasta wine , it does the job well.
