On opening, I felt like this was a bit simple and fruit forward.l, but give this an hour! The color is a beautiful tawny with browning on the edges. On the nose: tar, charcoal, roses, leather, dried flowers and raspberry. On the palate, fantastic acidity, dense dried red fruit, currant, strawberry, rose, leather, charcoal, amazing complexity, and still dense tannic finish. Stunning and near perfection.
