Wonderful Austrian! Fine tannins and very good acidity with saddle leather on the nose and red currants and cherries on the palate. Imported by Peter Weygandt.

I had this open for 2+ hours, but it was still very acidic and astringent. I was hoping for it to mellow down and show more fruit. Still enjoyable, but on the harsh side.. Had it with scallops, bacon, peas and mint. Would be better with something heavier and fattier.

A little big for me, complexity is there, but didn't work with dessert.
