Cépage Arbois Chardonnay

2011--at NOPA btg right now--so lovely!

Simple and clean and lacking that unique oxidative quality.

Deliciously funky and savory. Tons of spice on the finish - Indian and baking. Wow.

Not the best vintage. Lacks acidity.

I think #Jura #Chardonnay is my #spiritanimal. This one in particular. Spicy, savory apple and quince. Innocent, easy to like, exotic to my mother.

And sometimes I drink oxidative Chardonnay from the Jura from a liberated qantas wines glass

Golden fruit and great balance with just the slightest hint of oxidation. Great for the price!

Very tangy fruit, I suspect nonoxidative, medium acid, tangy fruity, feels significantly younger than vintage would suggest

Didn’t love it. Very funky with lots of salinity
