Coming along brilliantly. A massive wave of petrol after pouring, which washes away and reveals a lean, crystal wine, as always devoid of offending pyrazine given Chavignol terroir. So great!

Too me this was a much more generous style of Sancerre. Acidity is rounded, minerality is very polished but still chalky in character. Fruit driven by ripe grapefruit and citrus blossom and a delicate herbaceous character similar to chervil.
