A friend gave me this as a hostess gift and wow it’s fantastic! It got “Wine Region of the Year” for 2017 from Wine Enthusiast. 60% Malbec 40% Merlot. I will definitely have to buy it and share with friends! Cheers!

Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
New world nose of blueberries, cherries, plums, vanilla, licorice, oak, spices, coffee, earth, metals and black pepper.
Medium bodied with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, strawberries, earth, wood, licorice, vanilla, vegetables, herbs, tar, pencil lead and peppercorn.
Medium finish with medium tannins and tart cherries.
A good everyday red wine from France. Simple nose, but interesting palate with mild complexity. Well balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food. Has a nice mouthfeel with a bite at the ending.
