Wein, Weib und…. Borrelnoten! 😃

Note to self: wait at least another year for next bottle. Shy on the nose, lots of minerality, acidity and dry extract on the palate. Promising stuff!

Shy, very shy. A touch of lychee, a whiff of kaffir lime leaves, a bit of red pepper. Very closed.
Vibrant & alive on the palate. Some weight coming from the 8y, but great energy, razor sharp acidity, juicy fruit, a mineral backbone (crushed stone, steely edge). Good length, Greta balance. This develops nicely with time.
A truly nice wine from an underrated vintage.
