Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

Blended with small amount of Petite Sirah and aged in both American and Hungarian oak. Deep purple color with aromas of ripe dark fruits and sweet baking spices. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry and plum with notes of black pepper, cacao, oak and cinnamon. Fine tannins, long finish ending with ripe fruit, oak and spice. Nice!

Burly, juicy behemoth. Think Cali Amarone. Raspberry jam. Black raspberry. Chocolate covered coconut. Spice, wood. Raisin, prune, vanilla, spice, dill, plum pudding. Wow!

I really liked this one. Smooth, fruit forward. Plush. Jammy. More Grenache than Zin.

Beautiful!!!!! 2015 Zin. Gehricke zinfandel aged 18 months in French oak. Phenomenal!!!!! Anyone who does not want this does not like California Zinns! Holy smack! Spicy, big, bold, lots of character character. Hot rhubarb pie bouquet. Blackberry boysenberry dark current on the initial pallet. The mid-palate however brings in amazing blasts of chocolate and spice. The oak is overwhelmingly good. The finish is dry and leaves an incredible thirst for more!!!!!

Smooth, light-bodied, semi-sweet. Pairs nicely with a well-seasoned filet.

Sharp on the nose (pepper and cocoa) and sweet to the taste but levels out (dark cherry and berries).
I’m enjoying the wine and the location.

Agree with some earlier comments that this is more of a Grenache than zin. Solid bottle with plenty to chew.
