Flavors of dried cherries, blackberries, maybe some cranberry. A hint of lavender on the nose and at some point I got a little basil or oregano. Moderate to heavy tannins, bright acidity, medium bodied. Quite nice. I drank it over 3 days and still going strong, so it could probably age for a while. I can’t recall exactly what I paid for it, but I believe it was less than $20 making it a solid value.

wow 7-1-20. Another light almost fruity wine with solid foundation, spicy finish.

Ha, hadn’t realized when I bought it it was predominantly dolcetto. In any case, I liked its young cherry character for a change, and tannins were a bit stout. Paired well with marinated portabello mushrooms. Inexpensive option for quality Italian red wine, I thought.

Burst of fruit and acidity with hints of cherry and leather. Great length and gradual dryness on the finish. Nice complexity...love it!!

Nice rose great value- good depth and darker fruit for a fuller mouth feel but very juicy and refreshing.
