Took 20-30min to open up but then, delicious. Well structured and silky smooth.

Another example of just how good the 2012 Merlots are turning out to be. Oakville is famous for Cabernet but is excellent for Merlot as well. Deep aromas of dark fruit and cocoa on the nose with a slight hint of tobacco. Great mouthfeel with great tastes of black berry, currants, figs and cocoa. Tannins are evident but very elegant. I think this wine could age nicely. Very nice wine.
