Money Road Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

Worth the wait for the 2009. Dried fig, black cherry, anise, tobacco, violets, dust.. Tannins softened and just a little acid to keep things fresh. — 9 months ago

Macallan Distillery

25 Year Old Sherry Oak Cask Single Malt Scotch

A Great night to say the least:
Magnum of Gargiulo money ranch road,
2000 Bryant, 25 year Macalllan. Totally forgot to post this pick from a few weeks back!
The Bryant drank as good as any French Bordeaux that I’ve ever had. The money ranch toad was mediocre in comparison and the 25 year Macallan was 2nd only to the amazing company we had in our house that night!!
Great times to say the least!

1hr+ decant. Dark red color with extremely subtle maroon edges. Dark cherries, caramel, and subtle baking spices on the nose. Same on the palate with a nice sweetness. Medium depth and long finish. Rocks! — 4 months ago

Short decant. Red color with subtle maroon tones. Lots of tea on the nose and a subtle herb that I can’t determine. Olives and herbs with more tea on the palate. On the lighter side. — 9 months ago

G Major Seven Study 575 OVX Cabernet Sauvignon

Consumed 01/2020. Received in a shipment but not sure when. I am afraid I have cellared it for too long. The cork broke off and I made a mess getting the cork out so that I could strain it into a decanter. The wine stains are evident on the label.. They use for varietals to make this. At the time that it was released it was phenomenal. But now that I have kept it too long, I would say not as good. I need to drink the rest of it pretty quickly. 14.1% alc/vol. — 5 years ago

Almost totally opposite of the Gargiulo G Major 7 Cab. Smoky, earthy, floral, barnyard nose with a huge French influence on the palate. Not a style for everyone but I loved it. Medium plus depth and long finish. — 2 years ago
