Drinks well now. Will get better as it stays open. This should be in a decanter for at least 2 hours before first sip. How do i know that, because I wish I did. Tannins are shallow but berries are deep. Color is dark and nose is light oak.

1hr+ decant. Dark red color. Many facets from my previous note. If having blind I’d probably go Italian versus Napa Cab. Cedar, cherries, and some plums on the nose and throughout. Maybe a cross between Amarone and Brunello. Medium finish.

Consumes 07/2020. I previously said it but I will say it again, I have aged this for too long. The cork crumbled and made a mess. The taste was sour. I used to go to Napa every year and this was my favorite release party to go to. Absolutely loved their wines. I can’t afford to go anymore and I have tried to hang on to the shipments that I had as long as I could. It’s time to let go.

Dark ripe fruit. Big fruit modest tannins. Drinking well now but will open up nicely through the bottle.

Drinking well now. Still nice to aerate for a bit. Plum, dark red ripe fruit. I prefer the 575 OVX but this is nice.

This one is singing. Consumed about 20% of it on the first night. The other 80% is going down very rapidly today, and this one is definitely ready to go. Deep dark blackberry, medium to full-bodied front and middle. Almost a black tar, fig, hint of plum. In the middle of this one is where the spice starts. Gets more peppery towards the finish. Draws more of a black cherry and thyme towards the finish. This wine is incredibly balanced, and was quite enjoyable.
