Bright garnet color. Bold aromas of red berry/cherry fruit, tobacco and rose petals. The palate notes restrained red cherry/berry fruit with notes of black licorice, pepper spice and minerals. Pleasant smokiness on the medium-long finish. Bright acidity with excellent balance and very mild tannins. (Softer than a typical Barolo). Medium bodied. Nice concentration.
