DaGromis Barolo Nebbiolo

2010, very clean and modern. bright red and hint menthol. lovely not certain it is a 30 year wine though

Tons of tar on the nose. Smoky, gamy, rose petals, black pepper, plums, red cherry, a hint of sesame seeds. Quite closed. Very silky tannins, great texture, medium dry. Very solid wine! 2010 vintage.

My first Gaja barolo. Delivering.

Beautifully made Barolo. Wonderfully perfumed with notes of dark red berries, licorice, and subtle tar and violet. The it smacks you in the face with its teenage tannin. Definitely want to revisit in another 3 years.

Needs some time but enjoyed it

Celebrating 15 year anniversary! Drinking beautifully after a 30 min decant. Brickish coloring. Very traditional tasting notes...subdued red fruits with tobacco and earthy notes. Tannins have mellowed but are still present. Have several more so I'll be updating this annually now! Drank at Amici byob in Cherry Hill, NJ (excellent food and service!).
