It's elegant as Gaja wines are wont to be, with caressing notes of tart pie cherries, red forest berries, lilting spice and feminine florality. Fine, supple tannins coat the entire palate, its a beautifully structured wine with length that suspends itself over the tongue. Finishes with nuanced minerality and a pinch of dried mint. Sample

Oct 21st, 2016Impressively light-bodied and barbaresco-like. Brutal tannins at the moment. Probably the most enjoyable Gaja I've had.
