I found this wine delicious. Lithe, integrated, good structure. Notes of cardamom, orange, cranberry and rhubarb. Some white pepper and good minerality. Bright acids. I really enjoyed it.

A medium ruby wine 🍷 with robust, ripe black cherry, strawberry, mulberry, and raspberry notes also dried orange peel, violet, star anise, clove, saddle leather, and crushed gravel.
Medium(+) body thanks to a high alcohol (14.5%) and concentrated aromas and flavors with medium tannins, acidity and a lingering finish.
98% Nerello Mascalese, 2% Nerello Cappuccio

A volcanic blend of 90% Nerello Mascalese and 10% Nerello Cappuccio. Vintage 2017; ABV 14.5%
I love that this wine was named Idda (‘she’) referring with admiration to the majestic Mt. Etna.
This wine is ripe with notes of cherry, kirsch, alongside tomato leaf, mint, cardamom, crushed stone and flinty minerality.
