Les Vaumuriens Pommard Pinot Noir

This bottle was in a good place very drinkable but showing those savage savory notes I adore from good burgundy !

2014. Young but still giving up loads of cherry licorice and dried flowers. She'll be singing religious hymns in a few years.

Quintessential Pommard. Ripe raspberry and violets. Ripe tannins, Texture like silk.

2012. Taut and wiry fruit. Needs a bit of time to open up but shows the potential to curl your hair.

First of 2. Love 05 in Pommard. This was a CSW DI and is as delicious as I remember. Finally a bit more open giving dense Pommard fruit and the structure of the 05 vintage. Dense, juicy and mineral. Can't wait till it opens up.

Nice earthy nose and the palate has all the right guts of a good Burgundy, but palate is far from integrated.

Bad ass and delicious. Has everything you want. Earthy spices and awesome red fruit. Me happy tonight

Fantastic young wine that drinks really well right now. Fresh picked tart cherries. @Todd Abrams this may be my favorite from Saturday so far. Nice to sip while watching Mamma Mia. Have a great trip!
