Vintage 1995 / Found this in a dark cellar corner, while I thought to drink my last bottle four years ago. Pleasant surprise although decay deployed. Yet very vital and awesome balance. This was a very good investment in pure pleasure. Rose above itself this Saint Chinian from 100% syrah. If you have got this wine drink it now.

First encounter, aged St. Chinian Languedoc blend of 70/15/15 Syrah/Grenache Noir/Mourvedre. Mature red plummy with animal earthy savory notes and nice firm texture with acidic balance carrying through to finish. Still hints of oak at this age. Interesting. Great with Amahs pork. AA13

Fascinating wine, super dark color, mostly Syrah, obviously seen some new oak, but super suave, balanced and rich, very good Languedoc!!
