A lovely wine that defies its overly fruity expectations of being “Smaragd” level ripeness. Great minerality and taut melon/tropic character. White pepper fo sho. Perhaps needs more time in bottle. Tough to justify its $60 price tag.

Nose of bright spring vegetables and slight motor oil. Rich palate with pears and white pepper. Absolutely delicious.

Tasted a few FX today. This one had a unique mini dusty juniper pop on the nose. Or something. That was cool. Weygandt tasting.
