Cranberry red. Smells like plum stew and cherry brandy. Also smells like stuff you put on a scrape. (Iodine? Hydrogen peroxide? Band-aide?). Flavor is tart, dry, and bit boozy. Plenty of cherry. Sweet cherries before they are black ripe. It’s a nice enough Pinot. Has a hint of elegance. Makes its case well enough.
